PA-31 Piper Navajo Thread

Postby Flyfeatherfly » January 7th, 2017, 11:36 am

Let this thread be a great spot to collect data on the Navajo. Maintenance and flying tips and tricks welcome.

Many commercial operators have found the PA-31 to be a reliable workhorse with great versatility, load carrying capability, good passenger comfort, ease of maintenance, and affordability.

Personally I have found my Panther converted Navajo to be a great all-around machine for my missions.

Here is a video from yesterday.

190ktas +, 9,500', 37/2350, burning 16.5/side LOP, hottest CHT about 380dF. It picks up about 2ktas per 1,000'.

So great for a 7(or 8) place cabin class cruiser down low. Love that Panther conversion!
